Strategic Expansion Across the Atlantic Basin

Britoil Offshore Services is pleased to announce a significant advancement in its operational footprint within the Americas. Our multipurpose Platform Supply Vessel, BOS Princess, currently on charter to Sealaska, has successfully repositioned to Guyana, where she is scheduled to commence operations for a tier-one offshore energy client in the coming days. This deployment forms part of our broader strategy to strengthen service delivery across priority, high-growth offshore basins.

Following an extensive conversion program executed at Besiktas Shipyard, the BOS Princess has evolved from a platform supply vessel into a state-of-the-art multipurpose geotechnical drilling vessel. Enhancements include the installation of a moonpool, rig tower, and A-frame, enabling robust and precise geotechnical operations in diverse offshore conditions.

The vessel is now equipped with Seas Geosciences’ advanced geotechnical suite — including a 350kN automated seabed CPT system, deepwater drilling technology, and a fully customized topside rig designed for efficient operations across both shallow and ultra-deep waters. These capabilities allow the BOS Princess to execute simultaneous downhole and seabed investigations from 10 metres to beyond 4,000 metres of water depth, delivering reliable performance on the most complex offshore campaigns.

In addition, her DP2 station‑keeping, sophisticated navigation systems, and extensive tankage capacities further enhance her reliability and suitability for demanding offshore environments.

Strengthening Our Presence in Guyana
The arrival of the BOS Princess in Guyana marks a key milestone in Britoil’s commitment to supporting one of the world’s fastest-growing offshore energy markets. Guyana’s emergence as a major deepwater hub aligns with our objective of delivering high-quality, versatile offshore services to operators engaged in frontier exploration and development activities. The vessel’s unique capabilities position Britoil to deliver meaningful value to ongoing and future projects in the region.
As we expand our footprint in Guyana, Britoil Offshore Services is proud to be supported locally by Perez y Cia, our appointed local agent in the country. Perez y Cia brings extensive regional experience, deep knowledge of Guyana’s operational landscape, and a long-standing presence in the Caribbean maritime sector. Their support strengthens our ability to navigate local requirements, ensure compliance with Guyana’s stringent local‑content framework, and deliver efficient operational coordination for our clients.

Engagement at the Guyana Energy Conference & Supply Chain Expo
Complementing this operational expansion, senior leadership — Andrea Cavo, Head of SBU - Europe, Mediterranean and Americas, and Carlo Crovetto, Chartering Manager — will attend the Guyana Energy Conference & Supply Chain Expo at the Guyana Marriott Hotel, Georgetown, from 17–20 February. This event is a premier regional gathering for offshore operators, policymakers, and energy transition stakeholders.

We warmly invite partners, operators, and industry stakeholders to connect with us during the conference. This is an excellent opportunity to explore new business synergies, discuss upcoming offshore developments, and discover how Britoil Offshore Services can support your operational goals across the Americas.

Looking Ahead
With the BOS Princess now positioned for deployment in Guyana and our leadership actively engaged in regional dialogues, Britoil Offshore Services is entering a new phase of strategic growth across the Americas. We will continue to invest in innovative fleet capabilities, regional partnerships, and sustainable offshore practices as we pursue our vision to Be Outstanding at Sea, delivering high‑value solutions for our clients across key markets.
